“I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.” G.K. Chesterton
I stand in awe and wonder of the blessings of my life…for which I am thankful…
225. Zip lines and kiddos brave enough to hang on…
226. Garden goodies and God’s gracious goodness growing wild…
227. God’s mercy rule and that it is new every morning…
(If you haven’t already, check out the link above to Lyla’s post Mercy Rule…it has truly blessed me.)
Nancy, thanks for the link back to mercy. The photos you have of the cross windowpane are beautiful. Noticed that the other day and now this one too.
ReplyDeleteLyla - I went to visit husband who was working a different station and he was giving me the tour. There was a crow's nest at this station and someone had a chair up there. When you sat down in the chair and looked around there were all these windows looking up at the mountains and sky. That is what I noticed first. Then I noticed that the windowpanes all made crosses. It was like being surrounded by God's mercy on every side. Pretty cool. I took lots of photos.
ReplyDeleteI love that quote by Chesterton. I couldn't agree more!
