A Blessed Day

Not quite ready to leave Thanksgiving yet even though we have already begun our Advent season.  By God's grace I never have to get over giving thanks.  Precious husband worked a one man station on Thanksgiving Day.  We packed up the turkey, dressing, and children in the minivan then headed to the fire station.  The afternoon was spent eating, swinging, watching a little TV, playing horseshoes, football, and cards.   How did you spend your day?  I pray you were surrounded by family.  I pray there was much to be grateful for.

What a wonderful family you are! I know that your day at the fire station made your husband's day! Great photos!

Quiet, restful time at home, Nancy. I'm thankful for that.

And continue to be thankful for the blessing God brings me through you.

Hey Nancy,
Well, we had all of our family here for an early Thanksgiving and then spent T. Day with good friends. We did have a wonderful time. God is good.

I want to thank you so much for your prayer yesterday on my blog. I plan to pray that prayer every month on the first day of the month for the rest of my life.

Your Thanksgiving looks like you had a glorious time with family and ministering to others. That is what it's all about.

I am so grateful for your friendship.

Love,
Dianne
