The week passed too quickly. I trade my time – from caring for Little One and Darling daughter back to the daily routine. I try to focus and settle back into this house full of rowdy boys and one girl. Planbooks are pulled out and tests are being graded. Students put their heads back into books.
I consider and treasure the times for it is a time to remember to put things into perspective. To remember those things that come first. To give thanks to the one who is First, and Last.
First love – God above all
First born over all creation – Jesus
First time redemption
First time repentance
First filling – Holy Spirit
First moments of life
First born children having first born child
First time parents
First time uncles
First time aunts
First time grandparents
First time great-grandparents
First lullaby
First worship of a new year
First contact with new friend
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.” Deuteronomy 6:4
