Thankful Thursday

I do not like being put on hold.  The house movers have put us on hold, moved us down the line of priorities.  Now the rain won’t stop, it just keeps falling and saturating the ground.  This means our house moving project has come to a halt and again we are in a holding pattern.  I remember the obstacles that have been overcome and I take hope.

The administrators and satraps in Daniel 6 tried to put Daniel on hold – permanent hold.  When outside pressures began pressing in on Daniel the Scriptures state…"he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem.  Three times a day [Daniel] got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.”   --- Daniel 6:10 (NIV)

1050.  a day spent with “M” just hanging out, listening, encouraging
