The gym and the library have become my internet connection link. The only problem: the gym is for working out, the library is for schooling, neither leave much time for blog browsing. One of the blogs I check is
The Unpaved Road by Michele. Her servant heart and love for people in Sudan exudes through every word. Her creativity and love for the Lord seeps into her photos and artwork. Recently she did a post and linked to a post here. The challenge was issued to take
31 days to discover those things that make us come alive. To follow through and then share the results.
Some have chosen thanksgiving, memory keeping, inspired holidays, or changing the world. Because we have chosen not to have internet installed at the farm it would not be practical for to blog each day. However, I do plan to participate for the next 31 days. I am already a few days behind, but no matter it is a good challenge, one I have actually already started (my first card was in the mail before I saw the challenge).

I have decided to take focus the next 31 days on friendship. Intentionally taking the time to hand write a card to people who have extended a heart of friendship and impacted my life by doing so. Once a week for the next four weeks I will share with how this is working out in my life.

This first week I will focus on new friends. Moving to the farm this past May has put this introvert out of my comfort zone, stretching me as I meet new people and search for a body of believers for fellowship. Thanks to a long-time friend we have found a new place to worship. The believers there have been most welcoming and accepting. I am grateful for new relationships.
